Ygrene’s PACE Program has been made available to more than 3.7 million new residents since June 2017

PETALUMA, Calif. – Ygrene Energy Fund, a national leader in residential and commercial clean energy financing, announced today that its Ygrene PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program has financed over $1 billion in energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation improvements since the first program launched in 2012.

Ygrene’s PACE program continues to see tremendous growth, with approval in more than 30 new jurisdictions since June 1st of this year. The most notable of these are the city and county of San Francisco, the County of Palm Beach in Florida and the City of Petaluma, California where the company’s new headquarters are located. These recently approved jurisdictions have a combined population of over 3.7 million residents and represent more than 1.7 million residential units.

“We are very pleased with the levels of growth we have seen so far this year and we look forward to sustained momentum going into 2018,” said Ygrene’s President and CEO, Rocco Fabiano. “2017 has been an important year for Ygrene as we have worked with local and state governments to build stronger consumer protections and to ensure that we continue to provide lasting value to the communities which we serve.”

Ygrene currently operates across nearly 470 communities in California, Florida and Missouri. The program is available to nearly 35 million Americans and has financed projects for over 41,000 residential and commercial property owners. Hailed as one of the top 20 “world-changing” ideas by Scientific American Magazine, PACE financing is an innovative program that enables property owners to obtain 100-percent financing for seismic retrofits, energy- and water-saving upgrades, onsite renewable energy generation projects, hurricane protection and EV charging stations. Payments are made with property taxes and repaid over terms up to 20-plus years.
